San Francisco Home Prices, Market Conditions & Trends January 2022

Housing affordability – the % of CA households able to afford median priced house – hit it’s lowest percentage since 2008 (despite historically low interest rates): 23% – 24% in Q2 & Q3 2021.

San Francisco August 2021 Market Report: Sales, Prices, Trends

In the first 6 months of 2021, over $6.7 billion in home sales were reported to MLS in San Francisco, 49% above the previous peak in 2018.
